FPS’ building of the nation’s first Cancer Respite Center requires significant capital. While fundraising results have been successful, timing of cash received needs to be carefully timed and planned due to receiving the $5M RACP award and the $3M tax credit for geothermal installation later in our project timeline.

Access to capital is costly for nonprofits, with loan origination fees estimated to be 2% and current interest rates ranging from 6% to 8%.

We are looking for DAF owners to make a recoverable grant of a minimum of $250,000 to be paid back at a 1% interest rate paid monthly with full principle paid back in two years.

Grants will offset the costs of financing an estimated $10M line of credit to be carried for two years that will be used to construct the nation’s first Cancer Respite Center.

We will recognize you at the Respite Center for 10% of the donation amount. For example, a $250,000 recoverable grant would enable a $25,000 naming opportunity at the Respite Center. Click here for available naming opportunities.
